REMIX BEATS. CREATE MUSIC. CODE THE FUN

Our visionary Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg launching the LEO CubeSat.

Coding is the brain of Sarawak’s CubeSat.
It helps the satellite control its sensors, manage power, follow commands, collect useful information, and send data back to Earth to support monitoring, research, and planning.

SPEED?

CubeSats travel at approximately 28,000 km/h within Low Earth Orbit.
This incredible velocity allows these small satellites to complete a full trip around the entire globe in only 90 minutes.

WILL THEY COLLIDE?

Most CubeSats lack engines, requiring precise initial flight paths.
While advanced models use tiny propulsion systems for adjustments, most rely on Earth-based experts to monitor their positions and prevent orbital accidents.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

These devices are solar powered and typically function for one to five years. Once their mission concludes, orbital decay causes them to fall toward Earth, where they safely incinerate upon re-entering the thick atmosphere.
